The Educational Partnerships Program (EPP) is a statewide program that provides opportunities for health care trainees and various types of learners to do rotations in a correctional setting. EPP collaborates with dozens of Educational Partners to offer rare access and insight into providing health care for California’s justice-involved population.
Embarking on a career as an Advanced Practice Provider is exciting. There are decisions to make about where to practice and what patient populations will be your focus. California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) physician assistants are integral members of our dedicated, multidisciplinary primary care teams. Here, physician assistant students have the opportunity to expand their knowledge base in the areas of public health, addiction medicine, chronic disease management, and so much more.
